My tip of the week : Easy, quick & pretty gift wrapping at a moment's notice

The holidays always come around sooner than you expect, as do many special occasions. Having a roll of good old craft paper and remnants of ribbon, coloured twine or other random pretty elements means you'll never be caught without all you need to wrap your perfect gift into a beautiful package.

Another staple I always have on hand is clear cellophane goody bags. These were perfect for last minute Halloween goody bags I put together for my son's friends at his daycare. Unfortunately I did not take the time to take close up pics...I placed sweets in a reusable Halloween drinking cup, placed it in a cellophane bag (12 bags for $1 at Walmart), tied with ribbon and plastic skeleton for fun, added a name tag and voila! Fun, easy and inexpensive gift bags!

This could be done so easily for any occasion; treats for the holidays or even as a favor at your next event!
